I've struggled with my weight since seventh grade. Back then, I genuinely believed eating an entire box of fat-free SnackWell's cookies was serving my health.
Spoiler: it wasn't.
Over the years, I explored many approaches: keto, carnivore, low-carb, low-fat, fasting, calorie deficits, and plenty of cardio. Many of these tools worked for a time. What I didn’t understand yet was when to use them, how to use them, or why they sometimes stopped working.
Rather than viewing these strategies as “good” or “bad,” I learned how to use them intentionally, based on metabolic health, energy output, hormones, stress, and lifestyle. That’s when I developed true metabolic flexibility: the ability to shift between fuels, support my metabolism, and move out of cycles of restriction and rebound.

The Mindset Shift
THE GOAL ISN’T PERFECTION
Weight loss and metabolic health are not one-size-fits-all. They're not about willpower or eating less and moving more. They're about understanding how your unique body responds to food, light, stress, sleep, and movement, and using that knowledge strategically, and most importantly, loving yourself along the way.
I now use many of the tools I once tried (like ketosis, fasting, and carb cycling) in a completely different way. Not as extremes. Not as quick fixes. But as personalized, adaptable strategies based on season, light environment, energy output, and individual metabolic needs.
The goal isn't perfection. It's sustainability, flexibility, and confidence in your own body.

From Teaching Kids to Teaching Adults
For 17 years, I was an elementary school teacher. I loved it. I taught professional development to adults and discovered I had a real passion for educating, empowering, and helping people make meaningful change.
Now, I've shifted that passion to helping adults reclaim their health. I educate clients on how their metabolism actually works, why the generic advice hasn't worked for them, and what they can do differently to finally see lasting results.

My work focuses on metabolic markers beyond the scale, including blood labs, digestion, blood sugar and inflammation.
I use strategic nutrition that supports metabolism rather than chronic restriction or under-fueling. I address lifestyle factors that profoundly impact health, such as light exposure, circadian rhythm, sleep, and daily energy output. And I teach clients how to use tools like ketosis, fasting, and carb cycling intentionally, not as extremes, but as adaptable strategies.
The goal isn't extremes. It's sustainability, flexibility, and confidence.
I've had clients lose 30–60 pounds and keep it off. I've watched clients regain their energy, confidence, and joy. One client recently told me she looked at herself in the gym mirror and felt awe—not frustration—for the first time in years.
That's what drives me. Not just weight loss. But transformation. Freedom. The ability to live fully in your body without constant struggle.
